Do yourself a favor & check out your neighborhood TJ Maxx. I think it's my favorite store right now. Designer clothes at a discount! What's not to love?

Ruffles + Sparkles

TGIF! :) I hope your Friday is going great so far. I'm sitting here eating fresh cherries & dreaming of Cabo... We leave in 8 DAYS!!! I'm so excited that I am already packing. I'm the type of person that loves to pack way in advance because I can't stop thinking about how fun the trip will be. What can I say, I'm a planner! Are you a pack in advance person or a throw it in the bag the night before person?
This outfit is fun, girly, & comfy. I did a more dramatic eye to go with the girly aspect. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Wedding Wear

I was so excited to see my gorgeous friend get married over the fourth of July weekend. I couldn't help but share a few pictures from the wedding because it was so fun & unique. They got married at a light house. I'm actually standing in very top of the lighthouse in the first couple pictures.. way cool! Plus how stunning is the my friend?! (the bride) :) It was wonderful to get away from the triple digits & spend a day on the coast (my favorite place on earth!).
Anyways back to my outfit. I was originally going to wear nude peep toe pumps but I ended up wearing strappy black sandals which worked out even more perfect for this beach wedding. I love this purple dress with a pop of turquoise (necklace) & pop of pink (lipstick)! Its a fun combo. I also really like the one shoulder with the ruffle. I think it makes the dress look more dressy! So whenever you go to a wedding, dress to impress & for the location!

Head Scarf, Stripes & Keds

This last picture was something I pinned on Pinterest & it was my inspiration for this outfit.
I've never worn a head scarf with my hair down until now & I really like the look! Feels fun adding another point of interest to your ensemble.  I also decided to pull out my old keds to complete this casual look. I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend:)

Shorts + Boots

I'm loving this color combo! The green & mint/turquoise! It was surprisingly overcast this day with some showers but still hot at the same time. So I put on my shorts with some boots! :) I think it works because the boots aren't tall but I could be wrong about that. Also, I just wanted to throw it out there that quality in clothing is important. I'm sure I've said this before but things that are made well last longer. I've had these boots for at least six years and are still going strong. They are Steve Madden so they were expensive but sometimes you want to invest in expensive versatile classic items that will last you years and years. Because if you think about it you could buy cheap boots that will last you one, maybe two years or you can buy expensive boots that will last you forever. Which one is the better investment?

I decided I'm going to try & start giving you the brand of each piece of clothing & the place where I bought it! So here we go...
Top: Old Navy
Shorts: Audrey from Stella Laguna Beach
Sweater: Kimchi Blue from Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Steve Madden

Romantic

I love these shoes! I got them a long time ago with my mom for a school dance I think & I had no idea how awesome they were until I pulled them out the other day & I was like wow these are so cute & then I saw the name on them... "Sam Edelman!?" Ha. Anywho, I think my side swept hair completes this romantic looking look.
