Creme De La Creme

I love printed sweaters. They make regular pull over sweaters more fun. I also tried the milk maid braids for the first time ever. I can't believe I waited so long to try it. It is a very different hairstyle that can almost look too childish if you don't have the right makeup. I paired it with a smokey eye and dark lips. I am also in love with this H&M necklace. I love that it looks like intricate lace but its a metal necklace. I really love jewelry that is gorgeous stand alone. I also got these jeggings at H&M on sale in store for $7! Talk about a bargain.

Lovin' Leopard

How to layer up 101! Start with a lighter layer. For the fall & winter, I like to start with something that is thicker than a regular tee shirt. I love the thicker sweater material of this shirt. Then I'll put a cardigan or sweater or in this case short sleeved sweater cardigan. Next, I have my ulta warm pea coat. Ladies, do yourself a favor and get a pea coat. They are a classic. I get a ton of use out of mine and they are very warm. Then for some pizazz I added my leopard scarf. Leopard is a neutral so you can pair it with anything. That's why I love leopard accessories like scarves and shoes because you can get a lot of use out of a good leopard print. I also did not want to look huge and bulky with all of these layers so I wore my black jeggings to keep my shape defined. Have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Pink & Purple

I really love this color combo. I got this lovely scarf recently as a birthday gift and I am in love. I knew I had to do an outfit with it. I love infinity scarves that are close to your face but I also love letting scarfs just hang so they can be the focal point. This scarf is defiantly the star in this outfit. It pulls everything together. I just love the pattern. I did a smaller bun and put on my Revlon lipstain in Lovesick. It is a beautiful pink purpley color. I put these big fun hoops with it so it was a little more sassy.

Sweaters, Skirts, & Starbucks

Our best friend Aaron, who is in the navy, was in town for the weekend! Of course I whipped out my camera to take a few snapshots. I love capturing memories. We just love love love him!!

I'm loving the skirt and sweater look. It's girly and flirty and fun but sooo comfy. I wore navy and black together to give it a fancier look but it's still very casual with the striped pattern. I still love these cut open buckle booties! They look great with these tights. Of course I had to document my first Starbucks Christmas cup ;) I am in love with Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Salted Carmel Mochas, and Peppermint Mochas... yum!

Casual Cool

What do you think of this half bun half down hairstyle? I'm still not quite sure but it is so fun trying something out of my comfort zone. I think if you don't challenge yourself, then you can never grow. Just try something new with your personal style. Maybe it means trying on a pair of pants you thought to yourself you would never ever buy. Do something that challenges you.
This outfit was really fun for me. I never thought I would like jeans so distressed. I never thought I would try this hairstyle because I didn't really love it when I first saw it. Here's to stepping out of the box! Don't say no to a trend until you've tried it first.

Fall Hats

I am in love with fall hats and I'm not even a hat person. You know if it is a fall hat when it is a darker color made out of felt material.  I also love a thicker vest with a dress. I chose a dress with longer sleeves because that was more in tune with the season. I finished the look with a heavier smokey eye and a bold lip. If it was cooler outside, you could wear tights with it and layer a leather jacket over it.
Honestly, the best thing about this outfit is the confidence I had. It sounds so cheesy but that is the best thing you can wear! Confidence is key. I felt good and that made me look even better. I do not mean this in an arrogant way. I believe that confidence is healthy. We need to wear that everyday. Be confident in your unique look. I used to be so worried what others thought of what I wore but now I wear clothes for me. I don't care what they think. You can only be you.. be confident.
