Bye, 2014!

2014 has been year of growth for me and my blog. I've come to realize more and more about myself. This blog has become more than just a fun hobby on the side, it is something that I am passionate about. I love inspiring others. I love showing others that it is not that complicated to be stylish and that its more important to have personal style than to stay on top of the latest trends. "Fashion fades but style stays" is my motto. You also can do a lot on a budget by rewearing items in a fresh way and by using your hard earned cash on investment pieces like a classic blazer or high quality denim. I've learned that I love to try different styles from bohemian, to classic, to trendy, to girly, to grunge. And when it comes down to it, it's more about how you wear the clothes not about the clothes themselves. It's about knowing that your confidence is the most attractive thing you can offer. Thank you so much to all of my loyal followers, friends, fellow bloggers for reading The Style Paige!

90s Baby

Yup! I was born in the 90s. And right now the 90s are making a comeback in the world of fashion. I love layering as much as I can so I'm loving this grunge street look right now with lots of layers. This beanie was absolutely perfect, yet again, because it protected my hair from the rain without wearing a hood! Sorry I haven't posted in a little bit.. finals and my crazy holiday work schedule have been taking over my life :) Thanks for reading!!

Misty

When I woke up to morning mist, it was dreamy. It reminded me of the end scene in Pride in Prejudice... so romantic! This big thick chunky sweater is the perfect thing for this cold weather. I mean why not look cute & be comfy? I paired it with skinny jeans ( because you don't want everything to be loose ) and combat boots. Oh yeah, and I can't get enough of stackable rings. These ones from H&M are the perfect touch.

Beanie

Beanies are a great fall accessory. They can keep you warm, cute & comfy! I also love that they can cover greasy hair. I like to wear mine where it sits slightly back. I like when you can see your hairline  & see most of the front pieces of hair, framing your face!

Thankfulness

I'm so incredibly grateful for all that I have. It just overwhelms me! How can life even get any better than it is now? I've found the love of my life- the person I never get tired of seeing, the person that I get to take on the world with, the person that helps me to be a better. I have an incredible family-the people that I get to do life with, the people that hold me up when I'm weak, the people that rejoice in my victories. I have the best friends I could ask for- people that don't let distance come between us, the people that encourage and uplift me, the people that I can be myself with.
I'm an achiever and a dreamer which tends to sway my focus into the future, but it only takes one second to look at where I am right now to feel thankful. I believe there is always something good in your life even in the most awful circumstances. You just have to be willing to look for it. Having a thankful heart can help you stay positive and it can also attract positive things into you life. So I hope that not only today but every day you can look at your life, what you have and more importantly who you are with, and be appreciative and happy. Happy Thanksgiving!
