Resort Feel

This outfit just reminded me of resort collections. I almost thought I was at a gorgeous hotel far far away.. just kidding! But at least I looked like I was there. I borrowed my mom's fedora for the week and I got so much use out of it / compliments. I think I will have to invest in one for me:) I just loved that it covered my dirty hair and then I put it in a low undo. It looked like this was intentional when in reality I was just trying to fix my dirty hair problem!

Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see a tutorial on this hairstyle.

Bike Riding

Oh, summer... I love you! When I think of summer, I think back to my childhood. I spent my summers playing with my neighbors in the streets with water guns, rollerblading, and bike riding. Some things are better kept the same.. no not my boyish ten year old body... ;) I meant bike riding!
This turquoise beach cruiser was too cute not to picture. I am in love with these shoes, sunnies, and shorts. These pieces will definitely be on repeat.

The Best Button Up

I've been searching high and low for the perfect button up. A classic button up is so versatile and timeless and very in style now but it is difficult to find a good fitting one. I didn't want one too tailored and I didn't want one too baggy. I also did not want it to be where you could see through it. I bought this one from Abercrombie and it fits amazing! It is even the perfect length (so many that I found were too long!).

So Fresh

I am loving cobalt blue! This monochrome outfit with the cream blazer keeps things fresh. I kept my accessories and hair simple to let the punch of color do the talking.

Dog Lover

I'm an animal lover! Specifically dogs. This guy right here is my baby. Taylor and I rescued Berkley a little over a year ago our local animal shelter. Ever since then, I have been telling everyone that is thinking about getting a pet to go there! It feels so great that we rescued Berkley instead of getting him from a breeder. I would have taken all of the animals at the shelter if I had space for all of their adorable faces. I know "ordering" a designer dog off of the internet is trendy (I was planning on doing that) but when you rescue a dog you give an unwanted dog a home. There are too many puppies without homes!! I can honestly say that I believe that rescue dogs are the best because they are so happy that you hand picked them!

Grunge Girly

For me, sometimes going completely one way with one style is boring. Here I mixed "grunge" pieces and "girly" pieces to give this outfit a little edge. I put my hair up in a polished undo and put on barbie pink lipstick and floral top. Then I paired these with ripped jeans and a leather jacket to give it that edge. I was really happy with the result!

Retro Touch

I can't get enough of mixing patterns. I wanted to do something different with my hair so I put my front curls up in a retro swirl. I really liked this twist on the outfit. I also wore my favorite Revlon lip stain in a dark red color. I love how it all came together!

Bouncy Ponytail

I broke up the black and white patterned dress with lighter colors to give this outfit a springy feel. I also did a big bouncy pony tail which is always fun. The key to a voluminous pony is starting with big curly hair and teasing.
